This weeks question: What is the most intimidating book you have yet to read?
In true nerd fashion, I like the Lord of the Rings movies. I have not, however, been able to read the books, they're just so long, and there are so many made up names and places, and despite the fact that I've seen all the movies, there is so much additional information in the books, that I know I'll be confused.

Ditto! I definitely feel under-qualified to read Tolkien. I am not sure my brain can hold all the different elements of the books. He was a very intelligent man who created a different world in great detail.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I've given up on every being able to ready anything of his, but I'll gladly watch the movies!! (Actually I haven't seen the Hobbit ones)
